Jalissa Pirro was part of the Interdisciplinary Geospatial Approaches to Watershed Science Research Education for Undergraduates project in Geography and Sustainability Science in 2021. She assisted with using drones and collecting water samples to monitor for harmful algal blooms as part of the Iowa Healthy Lakes Initiative.
